What if I bring items back late?

Your books will usually renew automatically, unless someone else has requested them or you have reached the limit (10 renewals).
Loans that cannot be renewed must be returned by their due date. We will send you an e-mail informing you that your loans are now overdue and asking you to return them.
The Library does not charge fines for overdue items, but your Library account will be blocked. This means you cannot borrow any more books or renew any others already on your account. You will have to return all items to clear your record and be able to borrow from the Library again.
Please make sure you return loans which cannot be renewed as other students will be waiting for them.
A total of three messages will be sent to you once your loans are overdue. The final message is an invoice for the cost of replacing the item(s). If you have lost the items you can pay in the Library or online with a credit card.
